The Cardinals reiterated their confidence in receiver Christian Kirk on Tuesday, a day after news broke that Kirk was arrested in February as he was leaving the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
According to Scottsdale Police, Kirk and some friends were seen throwing rocks at cars outside the golf tournament. He was charged with damaging property and disorderly conduct-disruptive behavior. The case is pending.
Kirk, drafted in the second round last month, was not available for comment after practice Tuesday, but coach Steve Wilks addressed the issue.
“We knew about it,” Wilks said.
