Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson was named to The Associated Press’ All-Pro NFL First Team. The thing is, he wasn’t named as First Team running back. That honor went to Dallas Cowboys back Ezekiel Elliot.
Instead, Johnson made the first team as a “flex” player. It is a newly created position this year to more appropriately reflect the team’s use of a player. Johnson was named to the ALL-Pro Second Team as running back.
I’ve been seeing a lot of comments on social media about Johnson getting robbed of First-Team running back. He did, he was robbed.
