The Cardinals plan to hire former Chargers coach Mike McCoy as offensive coordinator, according to multiple reports on Thursday.
McCoy interviewed with new Cardinals coach Steve Wilks earlier this week, as did former Seahawks coordinator Darrell Bevell.
McCoy was considered to be the favorite all along and apparently is nearing a deal with the Cardinals.
Five years ago, the Cardinals wanted to hire McCoy for their head-coaching position, but he chose the Chargers instead.
