For a team that’s been leading the NFL in penalties for most of the 2020 season, the Cardinals have a squeaky-clean record this year when it comes to the league doling out further punishment for various on-field infractions and other bad-boy offenses.
Although no one has been penalized more times entering Sunday’s game against the Eagles than the Cardinals (110 flags overall, 94 accepted penalties), they just happen to be the only club in the 32-team league that hasn’t drawn a single fine by the NFL’s Football Operations department.
“Knock on wood,” Cardinals left tackle D.J. Humphries said, laughing.
