Over the past month or so, the Arizona Cardinals front office has succeeded in filling several of the club’s roster holes. A blockbuster trade took care of a need at the wide receiver position, and some defensive reinforcements were added as well. But despite those acquisitions, there’s another area of the squad that will need to be addressed sometime before the regular-season opener.
Pharoh Cooper’s departure on March 20th left a vacancy at the Cards kickoff and punt return spots. The 25-year old free agent, who was claimed off of the waiver wire back in 2018, signed a one-year contract with the Carolina Panthers.
