It was a slight surprise when the Arizona Cardinals didn’t find a tight end in the draft until the seventh round. They selected Caleb Wilson out of UCLA with the last pick of the draft.
Despite not grabbing a top tight end in the draft, they clearly felt like a number of fans did, there was still work to be done at the position. This past week they signed veteran Maxx Williams.
Williams spent his first four NFL seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. As their offense changed over the years, he saw his productivity fall.
Williams should be nothing but a great help to the depth chart already assembled.
