Multiple teams around the NFL are deciding to take measures to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 by suspending travel and/or limiting access to their club facilities.
The Cardinals are the latest team to make that call.
“As the Coronavirus situation continues to develop, we continue to adjust our business practices accordingly based on the most current information and recommendations from experts in the medical community,” the Cardinals said in a statement released Friday. “In recent weeks we have asked all staff to participate in a variety of proactive measures to reduce the risk of the virus’ transmission and spread.
