The core special teams player tore his ACL in the Arizona Cardinals Week 5 win over Detroit
While the Cardinals have escaped, mostly, this season without any significant injuries that brought the “next man up” motif into the public eye, that isn’t to say there hasn’t been injuries. Losing Andre Ellington for three games was big, but the signing of Chris Johnson looked clairvoyant in hindsight, however today there is no replacement for Kenny Demens who is lost for the season with an ACL injury.
The team got the results of the MRI while they stay and practice in West Virginia ahead of the Week 6 matchup with Pittsburgh next Sunday (the Steelers will be coming off a short week after playing tonight).
