Rookie Josh Rosen, named the Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback on Monday, spoke to the assembled media in Tempe on Wednesday for the first time since his promotion.
"I've prepared the same every single week up to this point as if I was the starter," Rosen said. "Anything can happen and something has happened, so it doesn't change my preparation at all. I'm always balls to the wall all the time."
Rosen, the 10th overall pick in the NFL draft, will become on of four rookie quarterbacks from his draft class to start a game this season.
"I'm very excited," Cardinals coach Steve Wilks said.
