The Cardinals will be without left tackle Jared Veldheer for the final three weeks of the season, coach Bruce Arians announced on Monday, after it was learned the veteran suffered a fractured ankle during Sunday’s 12-7 victory over the Titans.
Veldheer will be placed on injured reserve, necessitating at least one roster move, Arians said.
Two moves might be needed, however, as Arians said starting right guard Earl Watford suffered a high ankle sprain against Tennessee, likely sidelining him for at least a week or two.
Rookie Will Holden will replace Veldheer at left tackle for this Sunday’s game in Washington against the Redskins, Arians said.
