The Arizona Cardinals don’t have a history filled with championships and winning. However, they have had some all time great players to play for the franchise. When looking at the quarterback position, two names stand out.
In 2005, the Cardinals signed 34 year old Kurt Warner to a one-year contract. He earned an extension, and eventually rewarded the team by taking them to the Super Bowl in the 2008 season. All in all, he spent five seasons in Arizona.
Like Warner, Carson Palmer came to Arizona after having some measure of success elsewhere. Also like Warner, he was 34 years old when he joined the Cardinals.
