Arizona Cardinals: Former receiver Michael Floyd receives sentence

Former Arizona Cardinals star receiver Michael Floyd pleaded guilty to his “extreme” DUI case and was sentenced to jail. Floyd reached a plea deal, which included the Maricopa County District Attorney’s Office to drop six of seven charges against Floyd.

Floyd was given a 120-day sentence, with him serving the first 24 days at a county jail. His last 96 days will be served in home confinement. KTAR News 92.3 FM’s legal analyst Monica Lindstrom, who specializes in DUI cases, said Floyd’s sentence is standard for someone convicted of a second DUI.
