Arizona Cardinals fill empty practice squad spots with TE Joseph Fauria, RB Kerwynn Williams

The Arizona Cardinals announced two separate moves for the practice squad on Wednesday, bringing back two players who were on the active roster recently. They brought back running back Kerwynn Williams and tight end Joseph Fauria, adding them to the 10-man practice unit. Williams began the season there before being elevated last Friday to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

Fauria joined the team when the team signed him in Week 1 when there were injuries in the tight end room. He was inactive for the season opener and then, when everyone was healthy, he was released last week to make room for Williams, who was elevated from the practice squad to add depth to the running back position in light of Andre Ellington's knee injury.
