A lingering issue will usually, well, linger. For Arizona Cardinals linebacker Deone Bucannon, an injury he suffered in 2016 has done just that. Now, it likely will cost him his preseason.
The four-year linebacker recently had surgery on his ankle it was discovered on Tuesday. Reports are he will not be back until the regular season.
According to azcardinals.com, coach Bruce Arians hopes he will be back by the time the Cardinals open the season in Detroit on September 10th. Of course that could end up being more of a optimistic view.
So this begs the question, how long has it been bad enough to warrant a surgical procedure that will knock him off his feet for approximately four months?
