With the entrance of Steve Wilks and Al Holcomb, the Cardinals defense will switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3 alignment. This will allow the last season’s starting outside linebackers Chandler Jones and Markus Golden to move to their natural position at defensive end. Jones is coming the best season of his career. Not only did he make the Pro Bowl, he also led the NFL with 17 sacks and 28 tackles-for-loss in 2017. Another big and better season could be in the works for him. He brings a lot of energy to the locker room and he is one of the leaders on the Cardinals’ defense.
