It’s coming up on two weeks now since Bruce Arians announced he was retiring from the Arizona Cardinals. A search for his successor is heating up, and it appears that no stone is being left unturned in that pursuit. If the Cards’ brass have a preference for who the new head coach will be, they certainly aren’t letting anyone know their thoughts on the matter.
One of the candidates they’ve interviewed is in-house. James Bettcher has done an impressive job as Arizona’s defensive coordinator. Management apparently agrees with that assessment, given the fact that they’re considering the 39-year old for the higher post.
