Cardinals running back David Johnson is one of 17 players to be selected to the Associated Press All-Pro team for the first time.
Johnson made the team at the “flex position,” a new designation by AP designed to reflect the way NFL offenses have changed. That position could be filled by a running back, receiver or tight end.
Johnson, in his second season, set Cardinals single-season records for yards from scrimmage (2,118) and touchdowns (20). He is named as a running back on the second team.
