With just seven players announced for the Arizona Cardinals practice squad on Sunday, eventually they were going to have to name three more. With week one practice under way, it was only a matter of time before it came to be.
On Monday, they added former Carolina Panthers safety Demetrious Cox, former Cleveland Browns linebacker B.J. Bello, and former Detroit Lions cornerback Chris Jones. That leaves the Cardinals practice squad with five offensive and five defensive players.
The offensive players include a quarterback, a tight end, and offensive lineman, a running back, and a receiver.
