The Cardinals wrapped up the NFL draft on Saturday by selecting local fan favorite, former Arizona State running back Eno Benjamin, with the 222nd pick overall in the seventh round.
Benjamin, who is 5-foot-9, 207 pounds, finished his college career with 2,867 rushing yards on on 576 carries (5.0 yards per attempt) and 27 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 82 passes for 6275 yards and four more scores. He finished with 1,000-plus rushing yards each of the past two seasons, including 1,652 yards with 16 touchdowns in 2018 as a sophomore.
Coach Kliff Kingsbury has previously said the Cardinals were looking to add more depth at the running back position to pair with featured back Kenyan Drake and Chase Edmonds, the primary backup.
