Arizona Cardinals begin offseason training amid a host of introductions

With a new coaching staff and a number of new players, introductions were the order of the day on Tuesday when the Cardinals opened their offseason strength and conditioning program.

Running back David Johnson and defensive coordinator Al Holcombe bumped into each other and exchanged pleasantries. Safety Budda Baker introduced himself to a coach in the hallway before a team meeting.

Which coach?

“Uh,” Baker said, smiling. “Day 1 for me, so it’s pretty hard.”

At least one coach was identifiable: strength and conditioning coach Buddy Morris. He came to Arizona a year into Bruce Arians’ tenure and was retained by Steve Wilks.
