The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles to give the team some help on the defensive front.
In the deal, Arizona is acquiring defensive lineman Bruce Hector from Philadelphia in exchange for safety Rudy Ford.
The deal is contingent on the passing of physicals for both players.
Hector, 24, (6-2, 296) played in eight games with the Eagles last season and had three tackles and a half sack.
He originally entered the league with the Eagles in 2018 as an undrafted rookie free agent from South Florida.
