The Arizona Cardinals are now sports biggest losers. Well, at least they own professional sports longest title drought. Thank you Chicago Cubs.
After the Cubs won the World Series on Wednesday night over the Cleveland Indians, they broke their 108-year championship drought. They are no longer America’s loveable losers.
Does that make the Cardinals now the loveable losers? Well, maybe in Arizona. They are hardly losers though. At least not anymore.
It has been so long since they won an NFL Championship, they were still the Chicago Cardinals back in 1947. They moved to St. Louis in 1960 and were there through the 1987 season.
