The Arizona Cardinals have announced that long time Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson will join the Ring of Honor this season at a home game vs. the San Francisco 49ers on September 27th. Wilson, who played 12 years with the team was released after the 2012 season and didn’t play in a game after being cut, although did attempt to make the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears.

Adrian Wilson was one of the premiere defensive backs in the league, joining the 20/20 (sacks/interceptions) club. Wilson finished his career with 181 games played over 14 seasons, 721 total tackles, 25.
