Arizona Cardinals training camp is now just one day away until players report. The first practice is just two days away. So why not keep adding to the roster?
On Wednesday, the Cardinals did just that. They added sixth-year veteran Donald Butler to mix. Butler spent the first five seasons of his career with the San Diego Chargers.
Butler played in all 16 games last season but only started nine of them for the Chargers. He had just 43 tackles and 1/2 a sack, career-lows for him. From the sounds of things, not a lot of fans in San Diego are disappointed to see him leave.
