Adding Charles Clay and drafting Caleb Wilson doesn’t appear to be enough for the Arizona Cardinals’ liking. According to Maxx Williams on Twitter, the team is adding him onto their tight end corps.
The No. 55 overall pick in the 2015 draft, Williams failed to be the star that most expected him to be for the Baltimore Ravens. In 42 games, Williams tallied 63 receptions for 497 yards and three touchdowns.
The 6-foot-4, 252-pound tight end may not impress with his statistics, but he should find a place on the Cardinals rather quickly as a blocker and reliable receiving option.
