The Cardinals agreed to terms with 17 rookie free agents, including quarterback Trevor Knight from Texas A&M and three cornerbacks, including ASU's Gump Hayes.
Knight began his career at Oklahoma and transferred to Texas A&M as a graduate student. He played in 11 games for the Aggies, completing 193 of 362 attempts (53.3 percent) for 2,432 yards and 19 touchdowns with seven interceptions. Knight rushed for 614 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Wisconsin cornerback Sojourn Shelton received the largest signing bonus of the group, $25,000, according to USA Today.
