A veteran offensive lineman signed a one-year free agent contract...and it wasn't with the Arizona Cardinals. Veteran tackle Andre Smith is joining the Minnesota Vikings on a one-year deal, picking them over the Arizona Cardinals.
Smith visited Minnesota earlier in the week and reportedly said he was going to pick between the Vikings and the Arizona Cardinals and was supposedly coming to visit Arizona, but has now made his choice.
No Arizona reports linked Smith to the Cardinals, but Arizona has been looking at offensive linemen. They have reportedly looked at Amini Silatolu, Smith, Geoff Schwartz and they signed Evan Mathis to a one-year contract.
