Adrian Wilson officially hired as Arizona Cardinals scout

Now he'll be doing it as a full-time scout.

The team announced Monday he was officially hired as a college and pro scout.

Wilson had previously spent the last year working for the Cardinals as part of the Nunn-Wooten scouting fellowship, a program designed to give ex-NFL players interested in joining NFL organizations experience intern and learning experience.

Wilson retired from the NFL in April of 2015 and was inducted into the team's Ring of Honor last season. He spent 12 seasons (2001-12) playing with the Cardinals after joining the team as a third-round selection (64th overall) in the 2001 NFL Draft out of N.
