When the Arizona Cardinals acquired quarterback Carson Palmer from the Oakland Raiders, there was a mixed reaction. He was clearly an upgrade at the position from what the team had previously (as 2010-2012 was the Derek Anderson, Max Hall, John Skelton, Kevin Kolb, Ryan Lindley and Brian Hoyer experience), but he was not expected by many to be a real fix.
Palmer had a number of knocks on him. He turns the ball over too much. He has a history of injuries.
