After a long wait, the Arizona Cardinals finally got to make their pick on Day 2 of the 2016 NFL Draft. With the 92nd pick overall and the 30th of the third round, they take Texas A&M cornerback Brandon Williams.
Williams is a 5-11, 197-pound defensive back with blazing speed. He ran a 4.37-second 40 at the combine.
Cornerback was one of the biggest needs the Cardinals had entering the day.
Arizona didn't have a second round pick, as they traded it as part of the deal to acquire pass rusher Chandler Jones from the New England Patriots.
