The Chiefs needed a go-to wide receiver with Dwayne Bowe on a decline. He would have given the Chiefs much needed size and speed at the position. Their offensive line was not the biggest concern, with Brandon Albert manning the left side and capable interior lineman with Rodney Hudson and Jeff Allen.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
There was a big need at offensive tackle for the Jaguars but as usual back then, they picked the wrong players. Johnson was the most athletic offensive linemen in the draft and is versatile in his knowledge to play both left or right tackle.
