The Arizona Cardinals were one of the best teams in the NFL for most of the season, but after injuries to their top two quarterbacks (Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton), they lost to Panthers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
The team was decimated by injuries all season, even before their quarterbacks got hurt, but everyone will return fully healthy for next season. Because of that, head coach Bruce Arians has already set a new goal for 2015.
At the 'NFL Honors' awards show last night, Arians guaranteed the Cardinals will be playing in Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium this time next year.
“We’re dressing in their locker room,” Arians said, speaking of the San Francisco 49ers, who play at Levi's Stadium. “We can write it down today.”
Arians won NFL Coach of the Year for the second time in three seasons.
