After a 10-6 season with the Bears and a near playoff loss, the Bears let go their beloved coach.
In his nine seasons with the Bears, Smith lead his team to three playoff appearances and a Super Bowl loss in 2006.
The Cardinals need Smith's leadership and high coaching aptitude desperately on their sidelines. Smith would be the best candidate for the Cardinals this offseason, especially now that Andy Reid and Chip Kelly are off the market.
Look for the Cardinals to make a strong offer to Smith in the next few days in hopes of bringing him to Arizona.
