BOONE, N.C. –Appalachian State University women’s cross country will host the Mountains to Sea Duals in Boone at the State Farm Fields and Kennedy Trails on Friday, Sept. 16 at 5:30 p.m. The women will endure a customized 5,000-meter course for competition.
The Mountains to Sea Duals will incorporate three dual meets into one. The scored meet will be a battle between the Mountaineers and Western Carolina, UNCW, and Miami.
“We chose to name this meet the ‘Mountains to Sea Duals’ to highlight and bring attention to the proximity of the North Carolina trail across our state, the Mountains to Sea Trails,” said head coach Michael Curcio.
