CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. – Appalachian State University women’s cross country wrapped up their 2016 campaign with a 19th-place finish at the 2016 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships on Friday morning at Panorama Farms. App State collected 472 team points and was led by senior Tristin Van Ord.
“I am happy for Tristin making all-region,” said head coach Michael Curcio. “She finished 22nd and ran 15-second faster on this course than last year, and she will earn Academic All-American for the second straight year. Emily did a great job in her first NCAA level meet especially running in her second 6,000m race.
