EARLYSVILLE, VA. – Appalachian State University women’s cross country gathered 219 team points to take tenth at the Virginia/Panorama Farms Invitational in Earlysville, Va. on Friday morning. Senior Tristin Van Ord was the Mountaineer’s top finisher.
No. 19 BYU grabbed the team title scoring 47 team points. The second-place team was SMU with 89 points and the No. 16 Syracuse Orange rounded out the top three squads collecting 98 group points.
Regan Rome of William & Mary stole the individual title crossing the finish line in 17:01.10 in the 5K race.
