ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Tristin Van Ord snatched her third-consecutive 5,000-meter championship and Darlene Girardeau medaled in two events on Sunday as Appalachian State University women's track and field finished in fourth with 94 team points at the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Arlington, Texas. Texas State was crowned team champion with 154.50 points and rounding out the top three was Arkansas State in second (118 points) and UTA in third (103 points).
The Mountaineers competed in eight finals on the track and one field event on Saturday for 54 team points.
