BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – App State women's track & field sits in a tie for fifth place after the first day of the Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
The Mountaineers finished the first day of competition, which featured five scored events, with 10 points. Defending champion Arkansas State leads with 66 points, Texas State sits second with 31.5 points and Troy rounds out the top-three with 29 points.
The Distance Medley Relay tandem turned in the top performance for App State on Day 1. The team of Kylee Frady, Jessica Dixon, Jasmine Donohue and Izzy Evely teamed up for a fourth-place finish with a time of 12:05.
