LYNCHBURG, Va. -- App State women's track & field competed at the Brant Tolsma Invitational, hosted by Liberty on Saturday.
The meet was unscored.
The Mountaineers saw a pair of runners enter the top-10 in program history in the 1,000-meter run. Bianca Copeman placed second in the event with a time of 3:09.41, while Faith Younts finished right behind in third-place in 3:09.58. Copeman's time ranks sixth in program history and Younts mark sits eighth.
Taylor Smith had a strong day, capturing the long with a mark of 18-9.
