Johnson City, Tenn. - Appalachian State University women's track and field won one event and placed five in the top three on Friday and Saturday as part of ETSU's David E. Walker Kickoff Classic.
While the meet wasn't scored, Shelby Howell won the 800 for a second-consecutive meet and did so with a time of 2:18.30.
The other top-three finishers included Imani Chapman in the 60-meter hurdles (2nd/8.90), Hunter Welborn in the high jump (3rd/5-5.25), Taylor Drummonds in the pole vault (3rd/12-1.
