BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis (0-1) returns to action on Sunday to face Western Carolina (0-0) at 3 p.m. at Deer Valley Racquet Club.
The Mountaineers haven't played since Jan. 19 when they fell in a narrow 4-3 loss to Davidson in the season opener.
Teodora Sevo paced the day with a singles and doubles triumph, while her and Sandra Anglesjö secured a doubles victory.
Picking up singles wins were Heidi Swope, María José Zacarias, and Sevo. However, Davidson won two of the final three matches from the 4-6 positions to pick up the win.
