JONESBORO, Ark. - Appalachian State University women's tennis (8-4, 2-0 SBC) dealt Arkansas State (3-6, 0-2 SBC) a 4-3 loss on Sunday morning at the Jonesboro Tennis Complex.
Appalachian wins its fourth match in the past five contests while starting 2-0 in league play and improving to 6-3 on the road.
"Really proud of our performance on the road this week," head coach Blake Mosley said. "To travel in this conference and get back-to-back wins isn't easy. Everyone on the team contributed today. We fought back to get the doubles point and built off the energy in singles.
