BOONE, N.C. - After a 4-3 loss against ULM last weekend, Appalachian State University women's tennis (12-5, 6-1 SBC) bounced back in a big way with a 4-1 victory over its archrival Georgia Southern (11-10, 3-4 SBC) on Friday evening at Deer Valley Racquet Club.
Appalachian is 5-0 this season after a loss while improving to 6-1 at home and surpassing last season's win total.
"We're very proud of the performance," head coach Blake Mosley said. "It was great to win after a tough loss at ULM. Georgia Southern came in a with a lot of energy, but we brought it from start to finish.
