GREENSBORO, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis concluded the Spartan Classic Invitational hosted by UNCG on Sunday, capturing the third weekend with 20-plus wins in as many tournaments.
The Mountaineers finished 12-5 in singles play and a solid 9-3 in doubles competition over the two-day event, which was in a hidden dual format. Appalachian participated in singles and doubles play against host UNCG, Campbell and Presbyterian.
On day one, Appalachian posted a 9-4 mark en route to capturing four out of seven matches against the Camels and a dominating 5-1 mark against the Blue Hose.
