NEW ORLEANS - Appalachian State University women's tennis has been seeded seventh in the 2018 Sun Belt Championship held in Peachtree City, Ga. at the Peachtree City Tennis Center, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers will face No. 10 seed Texas State at 11:30 a.m. (ET) in the first round on Thursday. The winner will advance to the quarterfinal round against No. 2 seed Georgia State at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
App State is 0-3 in the Sun Belt Championship since joining the conference with all three results via 4-3 finish. App State will look for its first-ever Sun Belt Tournament win on Thursday.
