BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis (13-5, 7-1 SBC) registered its third Sun Belt sweep of the season with a 5-2 victory over Georgia State (7-12, 3-5 SBC) on Sunday afternoon at Deer Valley Racquet Club.
The 13 victories are the most since the 2012-13 campaign, while the Apps are in first in the league going into the final weekend of the regular season.
"We're really proud of the way the team battled today," head coach Blake Mosley said. "We played well in doubles and then was able to win some tight matches in singles play.
