DURHAM, N.C. - Appalachian State University (9-5) rolled past North Carolina Central in a 7-0 win on Sunday afternoon in Durham.
The Mountaineers bounced back in a big way after the setback to UAB, giving the Black and Gold six wins in seven matches. App's nine wins are the most since the 2013 season.
Appalachian all three doubles and all six singles contests. Two of the three doubles wins were shutouts, as Taylor Bygrave and Rebecca got App off to a strong start with a dominating 6-0 win over Emily Pena and Lauren Millis for their second win as a pairing.
