BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's soccer suffered a 4-1 decision to ETSU in a road exhibition contest on Wednesday evening at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
The weather played a factor delaying the contest to 7 p.m. before the Mountaineers and Buccaneers played three 30-minute periods.
Freshman Kirsten Seeley, who was in her first contest against another collegiate program, highlighted the evening for the Mountaineers as she came off the bench to give the Apps their only score of the contest in the 55th minute of the match. Mary Perkins collected the assist on Seeley's score.
