TROY, Ala. - Appalachian State University women's basketball (15-13, 9-8 SBC) fell to Troy (21-7, 12-5 SBC) on Thursday evening, 95-66, inside the Holmes Center.
Pre Stanley led the Mountaineers in scoring with a team-high 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field. It's the highest outing for Stanley since her season-high 23 points against the Trojans at the Holmes Center. Lainey Gosnell scored 11 points for her sixth straight game in double figures, while Tierra Wilson rounded out the leading scorers with 10 points.
Bayley Plummer posted her 10th game of the season with at least 15 boards, snagging a game-high 15 rebounds and scoring five points in the process.
