CONWAY, S.C. - App State women's basketball snapped a four-game skid with a 72-58 victory over Coastal Carolina in the HTC Center on Wednesday evening.
The Mountaineers are now 9-10 and 6-7 in Sun Belt play while improving to 6-4 on the road. The four-game win streak away from home is the longest road win streak since the 2011-12 season. Coastal Carolina drops to 3-10 overall and 0-9 in league action.
Brooke Bigott had it going on the offensive end, as she set a career-high with 23 points (17 in the second half) on 8-of-13 shooting from the field.
